I am looking forward to this month's project!
Judy is going to teach this Wonderful Purse. She won 1st prize in the wearables category of a Quilt-Guild competion! We are privileged to have her in our Group!
Members will need to bring a 3/4 yard piece of a fabric they want to use. If they want to use a contrast fabric for the binding then they can bring 1/2 yard of the main fabric and 1/4 yard of a contrasting fabric. They will also need their sewing machine and thread to match their fabric. Bring also pins, scissors, and the usual accessories. If you have a walking foot for your machine, please bring it.
If you have any questions about the purse project and the fabric you want to use feel free to email Judy at [email protected]. if you are not sure what to use, I would recommend a batik fabric which can be purchased at the Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse. They have lovely batik fabrics at reasonable prices.
