I fully expected to sew today but I got an email asking about the calendar logic for the ASGHouston.org website. I did not realize that I have not created any documentation about how to use the calendar event. Well, instead of sewing, I have spent my day documenting all aspects of the Calendar plugin.
This is a function that all of the Neighborhood Groups should be using in order to publicize upcoming meeting programs. Members as well as the public are interested in the programs being presented.
As an example, I have taken a screen shot of the Neighborhood Group Detail page. What is listed is the next five NG meetings. Program notes, when available, are displayed.
Each NG has their own page where they can display the next five meetings for their group. See the example above for the Inside the Loop Group. Another way to review what is happening with ASG Houston is to view the full calendar as shown below.
