Embroidery Machine Demo

Yesterday–What a showing!  Everyone had a wonderful learning time and everyone is pumped to run to the bank for a $17,000 Loan!!!  Very good feedback on the meeting and location.  Many of you want to return to Joanns because of its convenience and shopping  opportunity.  Will be talking to Miss Connie, the contact, for more meeting sessions.

And I’m thinking of our next meeting!!!  Almost everyone in the group likes to talk and talk I did pickup on that characteristic.  And being as our next meeting is the day before the Spring Retreat, a good topic  to address would be Tips and Tricks.   There are seasoned sewists in the group  who could answer many a question and move us forward.  Would like feed back on this topic before I develop it too much further.  If you’ll want, I can talk with them to be able to answer questions you may have.  Seems we brought up many topics yesterday like machine cleaning and stabilizers  that could be addressed.  Some may want bring machines for help also.  Would involve everyone composing questions wanting to be answered.  This way we would  GET TO TALK, get more knowledge and be more confident  in our sewing pursuits.

16 members and guests cane to Joanns on Katy road by gessner to talk about embroidery and so see a demo by Mcdougall on the Viking Eric 2.  This is truly an amazing machine.  This machine will handle a 24” loop and gas a programmable foot.  He peddle can be programmed to start / stop / tie threads and cut the threads.  It can be a hands-free experience.

It is a pricy machine at $17,000.  One lady cane to discuss a purchase when her husband showed and asked, “what do you think you are doing”.  Her response, “I am buying a boat!”
