NG - Sew Fitting

The project for this meeting is to continue with the 'The Three Pocket Bag' and the 'Envelope Purse'.  Read over the instructions so you are familiar with them.  Bring your traveling machine and bring your fabrics and all the notions you need.

The "Envelope Bag:"

The edging can be either binding or larger scale piping. Can be larger than 18" but Square! My bag finished at 8" square.  Drapery fabric wonderful for project.  Can self quilt if you want.  I used  fusible fleece.  The placement of the Velcro is the challenging part.  Notions you may want to think about are snaps and buttons. Not to mention the type of edging you want.

Both of these projects call for accuracy.  You will pat yourself on the back to choose your size and cut the squares you want before the meeting so you can just jump right in and start sewing.
