I am looking forward to this month's project!
Judy is going to teach this Wonderful Purse. She won 1st prize in the wearables category of a Quilt-Guild competion! We are privileged to have her in our Group!
Members will need to bring a 3/4 yard piece of a fabric they want to use. If they want to use a contrast fabric for the binding then they can bring 1/2 yard of the main fabric and 1/4 yard of a contrasting fabric. They will also need their sewing machine and thread to match their fabric. Bring also pins, scissors, and the usual accessories. If you have a walking foot for your machine, please bring it.
If you have any questions about the purse project and the fabric you want to use feel free to email Judy at jromz@att.net. if you are not sure what to use, I would recommend a batik fabric which can be purchased at the Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse. They have lovely batik fabrics at reasonable prices.
