NG - Seams Possible

July 14, 2026

Bring a man's collared shirt.   We will cut an apron design for a creative lady's apron.  Lace and buttons make a nice addition.  Be sure to bring your machine, sharp scissors, making pens and straight pins.

2.     On both shoulder seams, measure 1 1/4” from the collar and make a mark.

3.     Try on shirt. Determine where the ties should be.  Make a mark. Remove shirt and mark the other side.  Stop.  Do you need extra fabric from the back of shirt to make the apron bigger. Ask for help.

4.     Draw a line from shoulder mark to waist mark. Cut.

5.     Continue cutting at the bottom of the collar to remove the entire back of shirt

6.     Lay all fabric aside.
